From October 2008 to March 2009, Instaffs, an investment agency stated that it received 638 client registrations and this was an increase from 570 registrations which happened the previous six months. They also reported that the number of property enquiries has gone up and were 1,068 during October 2008 to March 2009.

According to Chief Executive John de Kanter of Instaffs, the small units are more active, but the bigger ones are not participating in the market yet.

The most wanted locations are Hawks Green, Rugeley’s Towers Business Park, Norton Canes Business Park and the South Staffordshire Business Pal. The Four Ashes Dell near Wolverhampton has also attracted some attention.

As per the report by Instaffs, smaller properties with desk space less than 3,000 sq ft have registered a 19% increase in interest in the last six months.

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent are the two properties whose values have remained untouched even in this economic downfall, reports Instaffs.

With almost 1,200 properties on its list of available sites, Instaffs is on the top with the most number of availabilities, and has said that the bigger companies, distribution hubs and other large commercial establishments have shown the least interest, whereas the small industrial units are making the most enquiries.

This report from Instaffs is based on Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Property Market Trends data collected for the duration of October 2008 till March 2009.
