The festive season is soon upon us and we still have a small day to buy any last minute gifts, food or decoration. Most people will be either going to family’s house or families are coming over to yours or to get you in the festive spirit there will be lots of delicious food and drink to make everyone merry and get that Christmas feeling. A Christmas cannot be complete without a Christmas tree and some Christmas decorations. They can be very simple and understated yet classy or they can be over the top a little tacky for some but fun nevertheless. I think everything is in the detail and so with little accessories hints of colour you can transform your home into a Christmas sanctuary and it doesn’t need to cost you much. First of you want to choose your colour. Do you want to go traditional or do you want to go a little minimalist and create your own interpretation of colour. Silver and gold are modern but classy colours and you could use candles or napkins to bring those elements together.Ribbon is another great inexpensive way to keep the theme throughout the home.Getting little pillows on the sofa is great too and putting some tinsel or a coloured cloth over the tv stand is another tip.
